When Can SHIB Reach This Level?

The prized $1 target for meme coin Shiba Inu remains top-of-mind for its community. However, SHIB currently trades at a mere $0.000008921, making the milestone seem improbable without extraordinary tailwinds.

Nonetheless, AI chatbots ChatGPT and Google Bard have indulged in speculative queries about timeframes for the token potentially hitting this lofty peak.

Near-Term Shiba Inu Price Projections

Cautiously Optimistic ChatGPT notes SHIB surpassing $0.0001–$0.0005 within two years as realistic based on feedback. Over 3-5 years, $0.01-$0.1 may materialize under highly favorable circumstances like mainstream usage or major utility expansion.

Still, the bot clarifies that hitting $1 even on that timeline requires “extraordinary circumstances,” including listing on prominent platforms. Google Bard agrees and says that it might take many, many years, even hundreds, before something as drastic as a whole country using it could make it worth $1.

The Burn Initiative

Crucially, SHIB’s staggering 589 trillion token supply caps its price. Reaching $1 would imply a market capitalization exceeding global wealth. Reducing supply by over 75% via burning emerges as a prerequisite to feasibly achieve this price down the line.

At current burn rates, Google Bard puts hitting $1 taking at least 1,437 years. Shibarium, SHIB’s in-development Layer-2 network, should accelerate burns considerably, but impacts would need to be seismic.

According to Changelly analysts, SHIB is unlikely to hit $1 until 2050. The prediction reveals that SHIB could hit $0.0106 by 2050.

The path to Shiba Inu reaching $1 stands towering but not necessarily insurmountable within our lifetimes. For SHIB to reach its promised level, the community must build infrastructure enabling this dream to plausibly unfold.
